  1. Accountability- Creating systems where there is accountability with the stories and agendas that corporate news sources put out.
  2. Corporate Agenda- The corporate agenda is the goal of many corporate news sources, radicalizing political bias, peddling misinformation, and controlling public information.
  3. Education- All consumers of news media feel the need to be educated about what is happening in the political scene, this encompasses: personal education, going out to find context, and sometimes lack of education.
  4. Full Picture- News sources need to provide full context and tell the full story when giving news, and viewers need to strive to not draw conclusions and get the full picture if a news source doesn’t provide one.
  5. News Mediums- Viewers should go and find multiple mediums to take in news, therefore eliminating any specific bias for one medium.
  6. Partisanship- While it is ok to say a personal opinion on an issue, it is not ok for corporate news sources to become peddlers of a specific party’s propaganda.
  7. Personal Needs- Every viewer has their own personal preferences when taking in news content.
  8. Ratings- Ratings is one of the most important aspects of independent and corporate news sources, how the get those ratings can sometimes be questionable.
  9. Role of Journalism- Journalists need to be investigative, and adversarial towards politicians to ensure they are getting the most information and then factually and with no bias, report what is happening to the public.
  10. Transparency- The importance of letting the audience of whatever news source know what their biases and intentions are.
